BLOOMFEST 2024 To Launch April 6 & 7 at Bridgeport Village

WHAT: Easterseals Oregon announces the return of BLOOMFEST, a 35-year spring tradition centered upon displays and sales of 10,000 tulip bouquets from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm to raise critical funds to improve the lives of children and adults living with disabilities and of seniors and veterans in urgent need across Oregon. WHO: Kicking off BLOOMFEST 2024 is Bridgeport Village in Tigard which is hosting BLOOMFEST sales from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. on both Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. BLOOMFEST tulip bouquets will be on display in stores throughout Bridgeport Village.

WHEN: Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
(Later during BLOOMFEST Week: Monday, April 8 – Friday, April 12, 2024, at other locations in Portland and Salem).

WHY: Every purchase of a tulip bouquet (at $10 each) helps provide life-changing programs for children and adults with disabilities, and seniors and veterans in urgent need of help with employment and housing across Oregon.

HOW: Thanks to a long-standing partnership with Oregon’s Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm and the support of philanthropic partners like Bridgeport Village, more than 10,000 tulip bouquets will be available this year for the public to purchase at $10 each to help those served by Easterseals Oregon at BLOOMFEST’s 40+ pop-up locations in the Portland and Salem metro areas. PHOTO AND INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES:

Children served by Easterseals Oregon will be volunteering and are available for photos and interviews on Saturday, April 6, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., at Bridgeport Village.
An Easterseals Summer Camp attendee who attributes the program to changing her life trajectory will be volunteering and available for interviews on Sunday, April 7, at Bridgeport Village from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Matt Sorensen, director of Easterseals Oregon Housing Program, will be volunteering on Sunday, April 7, at Bridgeport Village from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
