Bridgeport Village Welcomes TAH to Spring Pop-Up

Bridgeport Village Welcomes TAH to Spring Pop-Up
Fashion and lifestyle shopping center to host luxury handbag brand in seasonal installation

TUALATIN, Ore. (March 7, 2024)Bridgeport Village, Oregon’s preeminent fashion and lifestyle shopping center by CenterCal Properties, will unveil its new spring pop-up, TAH, on March 8 in one of the four centrally located, energy-efficient kiosks created as part of the center’s recently completed multimillion-dollar refresh.

The Bridgeport Village kiosks, radiating out from the newly renovated parklike Village Green, are a key component of the center’s refresh project. Accompanied by new covered canopies and fireside seating, the stylish, fully enclosed structures are energy efficient, with full insulation, weathertight windows that flood the space with natural light during the day and LED lighting for evening illumination.

The center has designed one of the kiosks to house a rotating lineup of retailers in a seasonal pop-up format. TAH will take the place of outgoing vendor Smith Teamaker, which operated the winter installation. The highly visible space is located at the south entrance of the center, in a sought-after location between Lululemon and Madewell. In addition to Bridgeport Village’s assortment of local and national retailers, the first two pop-ups have featured Portland-based businesses.

TAH Bags Founder Angelina Periera

TAH was founded in 2015 by Angelina Periera. As a former Nordstrom buyer, Angelina sought a luxury bag to meet the ever-changing demands of her life. This search often ended in sacrificing quality, function, or style for a bag that still left something to be desired. She believed a beautiful and purposeful modern bag was more than mere fantasy. Armed with vision and cardboard, Angelina designed a prototype of the signature shoe compartment and matching tote. She has since carved out a space for enduring quality and sharp design to be the markers of a luxury bag.

The pop-up will feature a selection of TAH’s most popular and coveted styles as well as the option for guests to utilize TAH made to order customization. Similar to the process at its flagship store, pop-up guests select the model and color, and the bag is then handcrafted in premium full-grain leather by master artisans in Leon, Mexico.

The TAH pop-up at Bridgeport Village will showcase a curated assortment of offerings. All styles will be represented so clients can choose the function and form that best meets their needs, feel the quality of the leather and hardware, and select their preferred color. Clients can either have their completed bag shipped to their home or return to the spring pop-up to pick it up in person.

“We are excited to bring our timeless heirloom bags to Bridgeport Village,” said Periera. “Many of our clientele lives in the Bridgeport area, so the pop-up location will be convenient for them to visit. And, of course, we’re looking forward to introducing the brand to a new audience among Bridgeport Village’s discerning guests.”

The TAH pop-up will be open during Bridgeport Village shopping hours.

“We’re delighted to welcome TAH to our vibrant community,” said Erika Plummer, vice president of leasing for CenterCal Properties. “TAH’s intentional design and quality materials have won the brand many admirers, and we’re confident that the spring pop-up will be a popular addition to our roster of exceptional retailers.”
