At Bridgeport Village, we are committed to creating a vibrant gathering place for all to enjoy. Part of that commitment involves taking care of the community around us by being kind to our guests, to those in need, and to our natural environment.

Hosting Honeybees

Honeybees are an essential part of local ecosystems, working to pollinate agricultural crops and a host of plant species. Supporting these pollinators helps improve biodiversity and promote healthy habitats, which is why Bridgeport Village partnered with The Best Bees Company to install two hives of docile honeybees on our property. The initiative is in keeping with the designation of our neighbor, the City of Tualatin, as a Bee City USA® Affiliate.

Composting Food Waste

Restaurants at Bridgeport Village follow regional policy and work to keep food scraps out of landfills and avoid contributing to climate change. Food scraps are collected separately and composted offsite to create nutrient-rich fertilizer.

Accommodating Electric Vehicles

At Bridgeport Village, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are accessible and free to our guests. The stations are located in the parking area between California Pizza Kitchen and Pastini, as well as on the 1st level of the parking structure. For guests using Lime e-scooters, we have parking pin locations for users starting or ending their rides.

Biking to Work

Commuting by bike is a sustainable transportation option and one that Bridgeport Village supports with community bicycle racks throughout our property. And, on Bike to Work Day, we seek to show appreciation to our retail partners with perks like free breakfast for all bike commuters.

Remaining Smoke-Free

To keep Bridgeport Village a welcoming and accessible place, we are dedicated to maintaining a 100% smoke-free environment. For the health and safety of all our guests, no tobacco or smoking products (chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, or vaping) may be used on the property.

Partnering with Neighbors

We strive to be a good neighbor and participate in our local chambers of commerce and visitor associations as well offer programming that supports area nonprofits. Our activities have benefited organizations focused on providing food security and supporting local families in need. We are also proud to support our retail partners in their efforts to give back by highlighting fundraising opportunities and other initiatives.

Pup Friendly

Nearly 50 stores & restaurants at Bridgeport Village welcome dogs. Be sure to look for storefront decals that identify pup-friendly locations. Plus, stop into the Security Office to receive a complimentary pup treat! All dogs must be on a leash and up-to-date on vaccinations. Please avoid any activities which may be uncomfortable, stressful or pose any risk to your pet. When deciding to bring your pet into a public environment, please be sure that he or she is properly socialized and able to interact with other animals.
